Nothing has been announced officially. Each of the last six Christmas updates came with a new fruit or Mutation (in 2025 it was the Empyrean Kitsune Mutation), but there's no reliable source on whether this year will be the same or which fruit it would be; most “leaks” online have no official source.

During the event it's in all three seas: in the First Sea it's next to Frozen Village, in the Second Sea it's near the Cursed Ship, and in the Third Sea it's Candy Cane Land in the Sea of Treats (it's always there, but has no event NPCs when no event is running).

Official news came late in each of the past two years: in 2024 it was an official video 1–2 days before the event, and in 2025 the Roblox event page was only created about 1.5 days before it. 10 9 To confirm the timing, the Roblox event page and the official Gamer Robot channel are the most reliable.

Every Christmas update has come with a new fruit or Mutation, and it often follows another big update (2 days after the Control update in 2025). This is a pattern from past years and doesn't mean this year will be the same.18 19
In both 2024 and 2025, it went live between early evening and late at night on 12/25 (Taiwan time). The official side did not announce an exact hour; this is estimated from video publish times.35 36 11
Adjustments often come in the first few days: in 2024, the gift odds and countdown time were changed several times in a row, and in 2025 the Winter Gacha price dropped from 500 Candy per roll to 100 on the second day.17 24

How past events worked (using 2025 as the example)

The basic gameplay of the event is very consistent: fight elf enemies for Candy, trade for rewards at North Pole, and wait for the gifts to claim a free fruit. This year's details have to wait for the official announcement, but you can roughly prepare along these lines.1

Enemies with an [Elf] tag after their name drop Candy: about 2–4 from normal enemies and 30–40 from bosses, and you can hold up to 5,000. Normal enemies only give Candy if their level is within 100 of yours.1 20

Wait for the gifts and claim a free fruit
When the countdown ends, a big gift drops in the middle of North Pole. Each player picks up one, and it contains a random fruit; when you pick up a gift, there is a 3% chance to get the Holiday Cloak.22 9 29

New in 2025: Winter Gacha
Use Candy at the Blox Fruit Gacha NPC to roll. The prize pool has a random fruit, two Player Profile backgrounds and three winter accessories; there is a 2-hour cooldown. Whether it will return this year is listed as "not confirmed" on the Wiki.24 19

Once you've traded for the Sleigh, summoning it later means paying 5,000 Beli at the Boat Dealer.33
Holding 100 / 250 / 1,000 Candy in your Inventory earns you the titles "Sugar Rush", "Christmas Spirit" and "Loco Verde". It's safer to reach each threshold before you spend.20

What to prepare before the event starts

Level up to the area you want to farm. Normal elf enemies only drop Candy if their level is within 100 of yours, so the island you usually level on is the safest place to farm.20
Get familiar with Dungeons. In 2025, from 12/26 on, the payout at the end of Dungeons also dropped Candy. Whether it will be the same this year is unknown, but learning where the entrance is costs you nothing.19 34
Plan your Candy budget. The exclusive cosmetics (Elf Hat, Santa Hat, Sleigh) cost 1,750 Candy in total; trade for the 2x EXP and Fragments afterward.20 26
Free up fruit slots. You can hold up to 5 Holiday Gifts, and you have to cancel any Transformation before opening one; if you want to keep the free fruit, make room first.23
Be at North Pole before the gift countdown ends. Stand inside the circle in the middle, and when the gifts open, quickly grab your own one (turning on Instinct marks your own gift in rainbow colors).22
Don't rush to spend everything in the first few days. In past years, prices and drops were often adjusted in the days after launch, so farm first, check the details, then trade.24 17
Set a Robux budget first. In 2025, each top-tier skin in the Winter Fruit Box had only a 1% chance, and the Wiki says "not recommended to buy"; if there is something similar this year, decide first whether to spend and how much.25
Finish Halloween first. Hellfire Halloween ends on 11/15 09:00, and Candy Corn and Christmas's Candy are different currencies, so you can't save Candy Corn for Christmas.2 20 See the Halloween guide.
