❓ FAQ
Q: Why can't I take a quest?
A: Usually it's because your level is too low, you haven't finished a prerequisite quest, or you're in a different sea (First / Second / Third Sea). Check your sea and level range first.
Q: Do I always have to go back to the NPC to turn in a quest?
A: Most enemy-hunting quests complete automatically and pay out Beli / EXP once you hit the goal, but unlock quests often require you to go back and talk to the NPC to move on to the next step.

📜 Blox Fruits Quest Guide

In Blox Fruits, quests = EXP + Beli + (sometimes) items / unlocked features.
This page lays out, as simply as possible, how to take quests, how to move through the three seas and which questline to grind late in the game.

✅ Update 30 key points:
The new level cap is Lv.3000. The traditional regular quest route still takes you to Lv.2800; for 2801–3000 you need to go back to the First Sea, explore the Island Secrets and earn hidden levels — the old quest table alone won't get you there.

🌊 Submerged Island Final Quest Table

Submerged Island has three quest NPCs with six regular quests in total, one opening every 25 levels: Ocean Prophet Lv.2675, High Disciple Lv.2700, Grand Devotee Lv.2725 (Wiki: Submerged Quest Giver 3, Submerged Island). Older sources saying “High Disciple is also Lv.2675” were corrected by the Wiki in 2025-10.

Finish the traditional quest levels first:After Lv.2625, you can keep farming Coral Pirates until 2800; if you haven't entered Submerged Island yet, you can stay at Tiki Outpost and farm Isle Champions. After that, you'll need to switch to the First Sea Island Secrets to reach 3000.

🔓 The Three Most Important Area Unlocks

🚢 To the Second SeaReach Lv.700 → talk to the Military Detective → defeat the Ice Admiral → talk to the Experienced Captain to sail to the Second Sea.
🌊 To the Third SeaReach Lv.1500, complete the Bartilo / Colosseum Quest and defeat Don Swan; then finish the King Red Head part, and finally talk to Mr. Captain.
🌐 Unlock Submerged IslandComplete the prerequisites at Tiki Outpost and defeat Tyrant of the Skies at least once, then use the Submarine Worker to travel to Submerged Island.

❓ 1. What Are Quests?

  • Find a quest NPC: Look for a yellow marker, question mark or exclamation mark.
  • Take the quest: Talk to the NPC and pick a quest; it usually shows the level required and the target.
  • Complete the goal: Usually “defeat a set number of enemies” or “defeat a certain boss.”
  • Get the reward: Most enemy-hunting quests pay out automatically once done; unlock quests often require you to go back and talk to the NPC before moving on.
ℹ️ Looking for function NPCs for stat resets, Fighting Style teachers, Race upgrades and more? See the Common NPC Guide.

🎯 2. Best Quest Types for Beginners

  • 🔥 Regular enemy-hunting quests:
The most consistent and easiest way to level. They usually ask you to defeat 5–9 enemies (Wiki quest list), so they're the smoothest to grind.
  • 👹 Boss quests:
Harder, but the EXP, Beli and drops are usually better. You'll run into them often if you're farming gear or rare drops.
👉 Not sure where a boss is? Check the Boss Guide Overview first
  • 🧩 Unlock quests:
These aren't just for leveling; they unlock new features (for example Race V2/V3, Awakening, access to new areas and more).
💡 Tip:
On a new island, get comfortable with the regular enemy-hunting quests first; once your damage and survivability are solid, take on bosses or unlock quests for better efficiency.

🗺️ 3. Regular Leveling Quests vs Unlock Quests

  • Regular leveling quests: Every island has them, you can repeat them endlessly, and they're your main source of levels.
  • Unlock quests: Usually have level thresholds and prerequisites; finishing them opens new features or gives you key items.
👉 Want to know which island to go to at each level in every sea? Use it with the Leveling Route table to save the most time.

🧩 Example: Bartilo's Colosseum Quest

This is one of the most frequently asked-about unlock quests in the Second Sea; completing it unlocks follow-up content.

  1. Requirement: Lv.850+; go to the Cafe and talk to Bartilo to get the quest.
  2. Step 1: First, complete the “defeat 50 Swan Pirates” requirement.
  3. Next: Keep following the quest prompts (including defeating a specific boss and the puzzle under the Colosseum).
  4. Rewards: You get the quest reward and unlock follow-up NPCs / features (for example the Alchemist and King Red Head). Source: Wiki: Colosseum Quest.

⚡ 4. Leveling Tips (Qingming Puffer's Picks)

  • Fight enemies close to your level: Go by the quest NPC's recommended level. Farming enemies far below you gets less and less worthwhile, and pushing too far above your level usually just means failing or getting knocked out more.
  • Follow the recommended quest guide (compass): Can't find the next quest NPC? Use the on-screen guide as your navigation; it takes you straight to the best quest spot.
  • Server hop for bosses: Want boss drops but the boss hasn't respawned yet? Try rejoining a different server.
  • Use fruits to boost efficiency: For example Light (fast travel) or Buddha (steady mob farming) make quests a lot easier.
  • Only use 2x EXP when you have time: Don't activate a code's boost casually; get ready and make sure you can grind for a while first. Codes are listed in the Beginner Guide.

📌 5. Our Advice

  • Set small goals first: for example, gain 50 levels today or farm a certain boss drop.
  • If a quest's enemies are scarce or hard to find, switch back to the previous easy-to-farm quest and level up there first; no need to force it.
  • Stuck on an unlock quest? Check your level and the prerequisites first, then look up the matching NPC guide page; it's much faster than wandering around.
