Light

Elemental ✨ Lightspeed Flight Its awakened flight is among the fastest, making First Sea leveling and getting around the map very convenient.
📝 Overview:
Light is one of the most practical leveling fruits in the First Sea. Its awakened “Shining Flight” is the second-fastest flight in the game at full HP,
and it comes with the “Light Spear” normal attack; its damage scales with the Blox Fruit stat, so you don't need to invest in the Sword stat.

📍 1. How to Get & Role

This is a Rare Elemental fruit with a normal attack, long-range AoE moves and high-speed movement.

  • Shop price: $650,000 Beli / 1,100 Robux.
  • Role:
    • Leveling (S): Performs very well from the First Sea through the early-to-mid Second Sea; its normal attack, AoE moves and flight make questing more efficient.
    • PvP (B+): Once awakened it has control and mid-to-long-range tools, but many moves can be dodged with Instinct and need accurate aim.
    • Mobility (S+): Its flight speed is among the best; the lower your HP, the slower both unawakened and awakened flight get.

💥 2. Skills (Unawakened)

Light's skills center on straight-line beams and area bombardment, plus its own Light Spear basic attack.

Key Skill name Notes
M1 Light Spear Summons a light spear for melee attacks; its damage scales with the Blox Fruit stat, so it can also hit Blade fruit users.
Z Light Ray
Mastery 1
Fires a high-speed beam from your leg toward your cursor that knocks enemies back on hit.
X Barrage of Light
Mastery 40
Teleports upward, then fires about 15 exploding beams around your cursor; hold to fire more.
C Reflection Kick
Mastery 80
Moves through a light mirror to above your cursor, then fires a beam downward that causes an area explosion; it doubles as a short-range reposition.
V Sky Beam Barrage
Mastery 110
Calls down multiple beams from the sky in a chosen circular area; they explode on hit and briefly control enemies.
F Light Flight
Mastery 10
Turns into light and flies in a straight line at high speed; you can't steer manually, but hitting a wall, the ground or an enemy changes your direction. The lower your HP, the slower you fly.
⚠️ Awakening tips:
The Light fruit can be awakened!
The awakening order is Z → F → X → C → V (fixed by the game); completing the first two gets you “Shining Flight,” and a full awakening rounds out its control and wide-area moves.

💎 2-1. Awakening Process & Cost

The Light fruit is awakened in the Light Raid; for getting chips, entry requirements and Fragment rewards, see the Complete Raids & Fruit Awakening Guide first.

  1. Once you reach the Second Sea, you can join Raids others start; to buy a chip yourself from the Mysterious Scientist, you need to be Level 1100. The Raid room is in the lab on the cold side of Hot and Cold in the Second Sea (its location after the Update 29 island rework), and in the Third Sea it's at the Castle on the Sea.
  2. Normal chips can be bought for 100,000 Beli (2-hour cooldown), or you can hand over any Physical fruit to skip the cooldown.
  3. With the Light fruit equipped, clear the Light Raid, then talk to the Mysterious Entity and spend Fragments to awaken a move; you can only awaken one move each time.

Here's the awakening order and cost (the game fixes this order: after each clear, the Mysterious Entity only asks whether you want to awaken the “next move” — you can't choose):

  • Awakening 1: Z “Divine Arrow” – 500 Fragments
    (running total: about 500 Fragments)
  • Awakening 2: F “Shining Flight” – 2,000 Fragments
    (running total: about 2,500 Fragments)
  • Awakening 3: X “Hand of the Emperor” – 3,000 Fragments
    (running total: about 5,500 Fragments)
  • Awakening 4: C “Lightspeed Destroyer” – 4,000 Fragments
    (running total: about 9,500 Fragments)
  • Awakening 5: V “Wrath of God” – 5,000 Fragments
    (running total: about 14,500 Fragments)

To fully awaken Light, you need 14,500 Fragments in total.

✨ 2-2. Awakened Moves at a Glance

  • Z: Divine Arrow | Mastery 1 | 500 Fragments – Summons a bow of light and fires arrows; hold to charge up to 3 area arrows, and landing all three deals about twice the damage of a single tapped arrow.
  • F: Shining Flight | Mastery 10 | 2,000 Fragments – You can turn mid-flight, but only in steps of about 45 degrees; the lower your HP, the slower you fly.
  • X: Hand of the Emperor | Mastery 40 | 3,000 Fragments – Fires a sustained beam from your hand that you can keep aiming while it's active; with multiple hits it keeps the target locked down.
  • C: Lightspeed Destroyer | Mastery 80 | 4,000 Fragments – Turns into light and dashes forward; on contact with a single enemy, it delivers a flurry of kicks and slams them into the ground, great as a combo finisher.
  • V: Wrath of God | Mastery 110 | 5,000 Fragments – Rains a wide barrage of light beams down on the area around your cursor, causing explosions; it has a big area and high damage, but it doesn't break Instinct and its actual damage is less consistent.

🎮 3. Combat Tips

  • First Sea leveling: This is when Light is at its strongest. Use flight to pick up quests quickly, then clear mobs with the Light Spear basic attack and V.
  • Travel tips: Unawakened F mostly flies in straight lines; awakened, you can turn, but the angles are stiff. Keep your HP high to maintain top speed.
  • PvP tips: Awakened C is a single-target dash grab, better as a combo finisher; Z and X both need aiming, so set them up with control or read the landing spot first for more consistency.

✅ 4. FAQ & Sources

  • Should you put points into the Sword stat for Light Spear? No. It's a fruit attack, so its damage scales with the Blox Fruit stat.
  • Can unawakened Light Flight turn? You can't steer it manually, but it changes direction when it hits a surface or an enemy.
  • Does Shining Flight always fly at a fixed speed? No. The lower your HP, the slower you fly; you only get top speed at full HP.
