Fish Tail from Fishmen, Magma Ore at Magma Village, Mystic Droplet on Forgotten Island, Dragon Scale on Hydra Island. These are the common sources, not every way to get them.
Third Sea players can also farm the Fishman enemies on Floating Turtle; no need to switch Seas just for materials.

Pick a crafting or research goal first, then use the material list to combine the requirements and subtract what you already have. Only farm the materials you're missing, and make sure you can reach that sea first. When preparing several goals at once, combine the shared materials before subtracting your stock.
First double-check the sea, island and enemy name, then see whether the item has extra participation or quest requirements. Defeating the right enemy doesn't mean it drops every time; for event-limited items, first make sure the event is still running.
Items like Hearts, Candy Corn and Confetti are usually tied to events or seasonal content. This page keeps their uses and sources listed; whether you can get them depends on whether the event is currently running.
Materials are listed by their official English names. You can search by name or by what they're used for, e.g. “Water Key” or “Sharkman Karate”.
