BF Buddha Guide 2026: Stat Build, Awakening & Raids

Beast 🌟 Leveling Legend Grows huge and tanky: the classic god-tier fruit for grinding levels and soaking damage.
📝 Overview:
To most players, Buddha is the ultimate “leveling legend”.
When transformed, you get bigger, take far less damage, and your M1 range gets longer, so pairing it with a Fighting Style or sword lets you sweep through mobs with ease.

Key points (checked 2026): Buddha isn't about spamming fruit skills; it's about using the transformation to extend your normal attack range. Leveling players usually invest in Melee and Defense first, then add Sword depending on their build. If you searched for a Buddha build, Buddha stats or Buddha awakening, just follow the order on this page and you'll be on solid ground.
✅ Beginners, follow this order first:
  1. Get Buddha first, and for leveling put your stat points mainly into Melee and Defense.
  2. Awaken the Z transformation first, then the other skills; when farming mobs, use normal attacks from your Fighting Style or sword instead of relying only on fruit skills.
  3. To judge its trade price, check Buddha's Physical and Permanent values first; to plan your leveling, read the leveling route next.

📍 1. How to Get & Role

This is a Legendary fruit; it's not Mythical, but its usefulness is off the charts.

  • Shop price: $1,200,000 Beli / 1,650 Robux.
  • Obtainment: buy it from the Blox Fruit Dealer when it randomly appears in stock; you can also get it from the Blox Fruit Gacha or by trading with players.
  • Role:
    • Leveling (S+): once transformed, the M1 range of Fighting Styles and swords increases massively, letting you hit multiple targets from a safer position.
    • Raids (S): high damage reduction and long-reaching normal attacks make it great for frontlining and clearing mobs, but you can't tank every boss move.
    • PvP (A): very tanky, but its large size and slower walk speed make it easy to target with ranged moves.
🙏 Divine Aura exact effects:
The unawakened transformation reduces damage taken by 35% from players / 46.4% from NPCs, and the M1 range of Fighting Styles and swords becomes about 5x that of a normal character; the awakened transformation gives 45% from players / 54.6% from NPCs damage reduction and about 8x M1 range. The transformation doesn't directly increase the M1 damage of Fighting Styles or swords, and guns don't get any range or damage boost from it.

💥 2. Unawakened Skills (While Transformed)

Buddha's main damage comes from “normal attacks while transformed”; its skills are more of a support.

Key Skill name Notes
Z Transform
1 Mastery
Transforms you into a golden giant about three times your size, granting damage reduction and boosting the M1 range of Fighting Styles and swords about fivefold; the other unawakened moves must be used in this form.
X Impact
1 Mastery
Pounds the ground to release a shockwave that deals AoE damage and knocks targets back (for crowd control).
C Buddha Leap
100 Mastery
Leaps high and slams down forward, dealing AoE damage (for chasing mobs / mobility).
V Buddha Explosion
200 Mastery
Charges up, then detonates your golden body's energy for AoE explosion damage that knocks enemies back.
⚠️ Awakening tips:
The most important thing for Buddha is awakening the Z move “Shift”. After awakening, the M1 range of Fighting Styles and swords goes from about 5x to 8x, damage reduction against players rises from 35% to 45%, and you get at least double jump height plus a ground-shaking leap with a 2-second cooldown. The awakened form can move across the sea surface and seabed terrain, but you still take damage if dragged underwater, unless you're Shark V2 or higher.
Awakening just the first move is enough; the rest depend on what you need.

💎 2-1. Awakening Process & Cost

The Buddha fruit is awakened in the Buddha Raid; for getting chips, entry requirements and Fragment rewards, see the Complete Raids & Fruit Awakening Guide first.

  1. Once you reach the Second Sea, you can join raids others have started; to buy a chip yourself from the Mysterious Scientist, you need to be level 1100.
  2. Normal chips can be bought for 100,000 Beli (2-hour cooldown), or you can hand over any Physical fruit to skip the cooldown.
  3. With the Buddha fruit equipped, clear the Buddha Raid and talk to the Mysterious Entity; each time, you unlock the next move in a fixed order.

Below is the game's fixed awakening order; you can't skip ahead to pick moves. If you're only leveling, unlocking the first move, “Shift”, is already very useful.

  • Awakening 1: Z “Shift” – 500 Fragments
    (running total: about 500 Fragments)
  • Awakening 2: F “Retribution Dash” – 2,000 Fragments
    (running total: about 2,500 Fragments)
  • Awakening 3: X “Heavenly Impact” – 3,000 Fragments
    (running total: about 5,500 Fragments)
  • Awakening 4: C “Light of Annihilation” – 4,000 Fragments
    (running total: about 9,500 Fragments)
  • Awakening 5: V “Twilight of the Gods” – 5,000 Fragments
    (running total: about 14,500 Fragments)

To fully awaken Buddha, you need 14,500 Fragments in total.

  • F: Retribution Dash – requires 2,000 Fragments to unlock.
  • X: Heavenly Impact – requires 3,000 Fragments to unlock.
  • C: Light of Annihilation – requires 4,000 Fragments to unlock.
  • V: Twilight of the Gods – requires 5,000 Fragments to unlock.

🎮 3. Combat Tips

  • Stat builds:
    • Melee build (recommended for beginners): max Melee and Defense. Deal damage with Fighting Style normal attacks and use the fruit only to transform; it's the most reliable way to farm mobs.
    • Sword build: max Sword and Defense. Buddha's transformation extends your sword's attack range, so this suits players who already have a good sword or want to train sword Mastery.
  • Recommended gear:
    • Fighting Style: Sharkman Karate or Godhuman are recommended for their fast attack speed.
    • Race: Ghoul is recommended; lifesteal on normal attacks turns you into a perpetual-motion machine.
    • Before trading: if you want to trade for Buddha, check the Buddha fruit value first, then use the Trade Calculator to work out W/F/L.

🧩 4. How to Run the Buddha Raid Safely

  • Awaken Z first: Buddha is all about the transformation. If you're a beginner short on Fragments, awaken Z first and fill in the other skills over time.
  • Take the frontline yourself: stay transformed and clear mobs with melee or a sword so your teammates have room to deal damage.
  • Find AoE-damage teammates:AoE fruits like Magma and Venom take down bosses and mobs faster.
  • Find crowd-control teammates:Ice and Dark can lock mobs in place, so lower-level players are less likely to go down.
  • Don't put everything into Blox Fruit: Buddha levels mainly through its extended normal attack range while transformed, so putting points into Melee/Defense is usually more reliable than a pure fruit build.

❓ 5. Buddha FAQ

Q: Is Buddha good for beginners leveling up?
A: Yes. Buddha's transformation increases the M1 range of Fighting Styles and swords and boosts survivability, so players often use it to grind levels, run raids and train Fighting Style or sword Mastery. The transformation itself doesn't directly increase M1 damage.
Q: How should I allocate stats for Buddha?
A: For leveling, put most points into Melee and Defense; if you're a sword build, you can raise Sword as well. The fruit is mostly used for its transformation, so you don't need to max Blox Fruit.
Q: Should beginners pick a Melee or Sword Buddha build?
A: For beginners, a Melee build is the safest: max Melee and Defense and farm with a fast-attacking Fighting Style. Once you have a good sword or want to do specific content, switch to a Sword + Defense build.
Q: Do I have to fully awaken Buddha?
A: No need to rush a full awakening. Beginners should awaken the Z transformation first, since awakening it noticeably improves your size, damage reduction and utility; the other skills can wait until you have enough Fragments.
Q: How do I make Buddha Raids safer?
A: For Buddha Raids, team up with players who have AoE damage or crowd control, such as Magma, Venom, Ice or Dark; stay transformed yourself and clear mobs steadily with melee or a sword.
