Tiger Fruit
Press V to transform into Hybrid form → fill the Fire Meter → press V again to enter Blazing form and go big; after Blazing you'll Overheat, which is a better time to create distance or switch weapons for extra damage.
🎯 Obtainment
You can buy the Tiger fruit directly from the Blox Fruit Dealer, or get it from the Blox Fruit Gacha, fruit spawns or player trading.
| Source | Notes |
|---|---|
| Blox Fruit Dealer | Price: $5,000,000 or R$3,000 (may change with updates; go by the in-game price). Recommended reading: Blox Fruit Dealer |
| Blox Fruit Gacha | You have a chance to get it from the Blox Fruit Gacha; it's very luck-based, so if you want it reliably, buying it directly or trading is still recommended. |
| Fruit Spawns / Trading | It can also come from fruit spawns or player trading. For trade valuations, see: Value List, Trade Calculator |
| Update background | Tiger is the reworked and renamed version of Leopard from Update 28 (v28); that update also added Blazing form and the Werewolf mutation. |
Tiger is a skill-based fruit: you'll often need to “close in with mobility” and “time your Blazing well.” If you just want to farm mobs mindlessly, you'll usually prefer Buddha or Magma.
🧠 Moveset
The table below lists Tiger's skills (with Mastery requirements). Actual hitboxes, damage and casting feel may change with updates; go by the game.
| Key | Name | Mastery | Key Points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Z | Finger Revolver | 1 | Fast to cast; good for adding damage or finishing right after a mobility move. |
| X | Spiraling Kick | 50 | A damaging mobility move; get the distance right and you can close in and start fights more reliably. Balance Patch 001 shortened the transformed version's wind-up by 20% and increased its hitbox by 15%. |
| C | Afterimage Assault | 100 | Tap to teleport to the cursor and roar, adding a ground slam if you're on the ground; while transformed, the hold version needs at least 75% Fire Meter. Official Balance Patch 001 increased the transformed tap version's travel speed by 20% and its hitbox by 10%; the hold version's cast time was cut to 0.75 seconds and its range increased. |
| F | Body Flicker | 200 | A high-mobility move that's great for both chasing and retreating. Since Balance Patch 001, the transformed version can be dodged with Instinct, and its travel speed is 10% faster. |
| V | Transformation | 300 | The core of Tiger: enter Hybrid form first, then press it again once the Fire Meter is full to go Blazing. Since Balance Patch 001, entering Blazing form restores 30% of your max HP. |
V restores 30% max HP when entering Blazing; Z damage increased by 30%; X flight speed increased by 50%; C damage increased by 10%, flight speed by 15% and hitbox by 15%; F now breaks Instinct and its wind-up is 30% shorter.
🔥 Fire Meter
Tiger's Fire Meter is basically the fuel for its Blazing form. It fills passively once you enter Hybrid form, and landing Tiger moves fills it too; you can only enter Blazing form once it's full.
- How do you charge it? It builds up automatically after you transform, and landing Tiger moves speeds it up.
- When should you go Blazing? Ideally when you're already up close or about to start a combo, so you spend all 60 seconds of Blazing where they count.
- Overheat: When Blazing runs out or you cancel it early, you Overheat. During Overheat you can't transform again and your movement speed drops by about 30%; it lasts roughly half as long as you spent in Blazing.
🦁 Two-Stage Transformation (Hybrid / Blazing)
Tiger's biggest strength is its two-stage transformation: Hybrid form leans toward control and mobility and charges your meter, while Blazing form is all about short bursts of damage but leaves you exposed when it ends.
| Form | What to do | Timing tips |
|---|---|---|
| Hybrid Form | Transform first, then fill the Fire Meter with basic attacks (M1) and moves. | Focus on sticking to your target consistently without mistakes, and get your positioning and cooldowns ready before going Blazing. While transformed you get about 20% damage reduction, about 80% bonus movement speed and 33% shorter skill cooldowns, but you can't use Fighting Styles, swords or guns. |
| Blazing Form | Once the meter is full, press V again to go Blazing and land a high-burst combo in a short window. | Blazing time is precious (about 60 seconds): cooldowns drop further to half of the base form's and all bonuses are nearly doubled. Avoid whiffing moves; you'll Overheat when it ends, so plan your escape route in advance. |
🐺 Tiger → Werewolf Mutation
When people say “Tiger can turn into a wolf,” the more accurate version is: Werewolf is a Mutation of Tiger. In other words, it's another branch of the same concept, with a different feel and role. According to the Blox Fruits Wiki, Tiger is the first fruit to get its own mutation (Werewolf). If you want to compare the two, start with the table below.
- Werewolf is not a “third form” that Tiger automatically turns into when you press V; it's a mutation. Whether you can switch and how you get it depend on how you obtained it and on current official events, so go by what the game shows.
- According to the Wiki, compared with Tiger, Werewolf has lower speed, accuracy and hit range in exchange for stronger damage output and sustain: Z Finger Revolver deals spread damage, you get 3% lifesteal while transformed, entering Blazing form restores 30% max HP, and knocking out a player while Blazing fully heals you.
| Aspect | Tiger | Werewolf |
|---|---|---|
| Role | Fast gap-closing + combo burst: stick to targets with mobility moves, then go Blazing for a burst once charged. | Damage + sustain: lower speed and hit range in exchange for higher damage and lifesteal healing. |
| Key differences | Rhythm-heavy: you need to time Fire Meter → Blazing → Overheat well. | The Wiki specifically highlights: Z Finger Revolver has the advantage of spread fire; entering Blazing Form restores 30% max HP, and knocking out a player fully heals you (NPCs don't count). |
| How to get | Usually obtainable from the dealer / Gacha / spawns / trading. | Physical fruit, Gacha and bundle sources from the 2025 Halloween event have ended. However, the Mutations page currently states that players who own a Permanent Tiger can still buy Werewolf for 1,500 Robux in Tiger's Mutations tab, and existing special physical fruits may also be obtained through trading. Go by what the in-game shop shows. |
| Which to pick | If you like chasing people, showing off your skills and using every one of Blazing's 60 seconds: Tiger is more fun. | If you want a steadier feel and a more well-rounded kit: consider Werewolf (if you can get it). |
🧩 Useful Tips
- Get to 300 Mastery first: without V (transformation), you're missing half the playstyle.
- Get close before going Blazing: once Blazing is on, start a combo right away; don't waste the time running around.
- Don't force fights while Overheated: use mobility to create distance, switch to a gun/sword for extra damage, or wait for cooldowns before going back in.
- PvP combo idea: close in with mobility (X/F) → control/multi-hit (C) → extra damage (Z/M1) → go Blazing when the situation allows (V).
